Fishing from the shore at June Lake
Calm on June Lake in the morning. The afternoons didn't stay this way. The clouds built up and there was enough wind for kite surfers on the lake in the afternoon along with a few thundershowers in the late evening.
Trying to entice a trout onto her hook. This morning the fish won and we came away empty handed.
Relaxing at camp mid-day to grab some lunch
Ahhh, just relaxing in camp
June Lake from a little above lake level
We came away with a couple nice rainbow trout in the afternoon and had these for dinner that night.
The trout were finishing up on the barbecue right when this sunset happened
Just a gorgeous sunset! It started with nice color and just kept getting better and better
Hard to beat French Toast with strawberries and powder sugar on them in the morning when camping
After a morning trolling (and catching a couple more trout), Sara takes a turn in the driver's seat
Pretty nice scenery when you're tooling around the lake
